Getting My First 1,000 Followers as a Developer

6 min read

No growth hack, no viral thread, no giveaway. Getting to 1,000 followers came from one unglamorous habit: posting what I actually built, every single week, without exception.

The pattern that worked was process over polish, sharing the messy middle of building a product, not just the launch announcement. People follow the story, not the result.

Consistency mattered more than quality on any single post. Some weeks the content was a 30-second screen recording. The compounding effect of showing up weekly outperformed any single perfect post I tried to engineer.
